Resumé

Outtakes

I believe the most relevant experience on my resumé comes from my internship with the Commencement Group and my leadership opportunities in Kappa Kappa Gamma.

The Commencement Group was my first sales-focused job that related to my major. Within this job I was able to connect with many different people, grow my knowledge of interacting with customers and upselling, and meeting specific goals. I am continuing to learn the ins and outs of distribution throughout this job as well.

Kappa Kappa Gamma not only made me a more confident and outgoing person, but it helped with my networking skills and leadership skills. I was a founding member, meaning I was one of the first members of the sorority on my campus. I took part in the establishment of the sorority. Our first year, we had 80 girls. We now have roughly 120. In my first year, I took on the role of Vice President of External Affairs. This role allowed me to oversee the Public Relations, Philanthropy, and Events departments. I managed the three department heads, as well as other team members within those departments. I was in charge of overseeing the department budget, managing and editing any content shared on social media, and acting as a liaison between greek life on campus and the chapter. Halfway into my role, our events director stepped down so I stepped in and took over her role. Within the events role, I planned and executed a family day event that hosted over 250 people. I also planned and executed a semi-formal dance that hosted over 200 people.
